Mountain League Names 16 Tyrone Athletes to Fall All-Star Teams
This fall 16 Tyrone athletes were named Mountial League All-Stars, including four MVPs, eight first-team selections, and eight second-team selections.
“It’s a big accomplishment for me and it shows that all my hard work is paying off. I’m very appreciative to my coaches and teammates that pushed me every day to be the best player I can be and it feels great,” said volleyball first-team selection Makenna Bauer.
Tyrone’s four MVPs were Jake Taylor for golf, Victoria Reese for tennis, Garin Hoy for cross country, and Alex Taylor for boys soccer.
“I’m honored to be named an MVP for cross country. It came as a surprise for me but I am happy to receive it and continue to work to higher levels of success,” said Hoy.
