Lady Eagles Trump Huntingdon
The Lady Eagles drilled twelve three-pointers on their way to a 27 point victory.
Tyrone maintained their perfect (13-0) record in the Mountain League Tuesday night against the Huntingdon Lady Bearcats. The Lady Eagles shots were that night and after draining 12 total three pointers, it was quite evident that the Lady Eagles are lethal from long range.
This win was just business as usual for the Lady Eagles as they shutdown the Bearcat offense and scored efficiently to earn their 13th win of the season.
Tyrone’s only losses came to Bellwood and Juniata Valley.
Tyrone took the lead early and never looked back scoring 22 points in the first quarter and 23 in the second. Senior Kasey Engle led Tyrone with a game high 28 points and six three pointers.
Alexis Cannistraci had 11 and Sydney Shaw finished with 14 and three three pointers.
The Lady Eagles look to keep riding their current seven game win streak Saturday night versus Clearfield.
