Lady Eagles Improve to 15-1
The Lady Eagles improved to 15-1 with a 50-24 victory over Mountain League opponent Clearfield on Thursday, January 27.
Senior Jaida Parker led the Lady Eagles with 20 points.
Tyrone came out to a slow start, only scoring 13 points in the 1st quarter, but regrouped to add 24 points to the scoreboard in the second.
Most of Tyrone’s points came from easy layups in transition.
In the second half, Tyrone was able to utilize their bench; Bree Paul scored 5 points, Alayna Greene added 4, and Riley Corl added 4.
Tyrone will face a tough opponent this Saturday, a top-ranked Mercyhurst team out of Erie. The game starts at 3:30.
