The Tyrone Lady Eagles lost to the Lady Blue Devils of Bellwood in four sets on Thursday, October 10. It was Tyrone’s senior night, and Tyrone honored the seniors on both teams before the game.

The seniors for Tyrone are libero Kylee Nelson, Middle, Taylan McGlynn, and defensive specialist, Sarah Zimmerman.

In the first set the Lady Eagles fought a relentless back-and-forth battle that eventually led Tyrone to an exciting victory. Both teams had outstanding volleys.

Going into the second set, the Lady Eagles came out energized and fired up. Bellwood and Tyrone made the second set extremely entertaining for the fans, with both teams keeping it very close. In the end, the Lady Blue Devils took the second set from Tyrone.

Sadly, the third set was a repeat of the second set for the Lady Eagles. They fought hard, but it just wasn’t enough.

The fourth set was very exciting to watch, as was the rest of the game. The Lady Eagles again fell to Bellwood after all their battles and a great night of volleyball.
