The Lady Eagles currently have a 3-1 overall record, beating Philipsburg Osceola, Hollidaysburg, and Bellwood within the past week.

Tyrone vs Philipsburg

Tyrone’s game against PO on Monday started off slow with not many hits and a score of 7-3. By the fifth inning though, junior Beth Pearson took the initiative of hitting a grand slam giving the Eagles a 12-7 lead.

Earlier in the game, Pearson had a soaring double that knocked off the fence. Both Macey and Tiffanie Tuskovich had line drive doubles to the outfield to better the score.

The Lady Mounties gave up three walks and allowed multiple hits by senior Maci Brodzina, senior Macey Tuskavich, sophomore Allison Beeman, junior Maci Lingenfelter, and freshman Sam Shaw.

The Lady Mounties ended up gaining two more runs in the 5th making the score 12-9, but still in Tyrone’s favor.

With a score of 12-9 in the top of the seventh and two outs, Mykenna Bryan (PO) ended up hitting a double and scoring a run. The next batter from PO hit a ground ball to sophomore KK Brodzina, the second baseman, to get the last out of the game. .

Tyrone vs Hollidaysburg

The Lady Eagles defeated the Tigers 6-2 on Tuesday, scoring 4 runs in the first inning.

KK Brodzina starts off the game with a shot to center field giving her a double. Maci Brodzina then hit a single, scoring KK Brodzina. Then Maecy Tuskovich hit a two-run home run.

Maci Lingenfelter got hit by a pitch and Sam Shaw had a shot to right field scoring Lingenfelter giving the Eagles a 4-0 lead at the end of the 1st.

Summer Shaw had a total of 7 strikeouts and Maci Brodzina had a perfect game going 3-3

Tyrone vs Bellwood

The Eagles defeated the Blue Devils 22-1 on Saturday, scoring 9 runs in one inning.

Senior Maci Brodzina had a total of four hits, including two doubles, and drove in three runs. .

Junior Beth Pearson and Junior Maci Lingenfelter also each had three RBIs for the Lady Eagles.

Sophomore Summer Shaw had a total of five strike outs while Lingenfelter had one.
