Lady Eagles Fly Past Bald Eagle
The Lady Eagles scooped up another easy win this last Friday against the Bald Eagles.
Tyrone ran up the score quickly and then sub their bench. The score was 30-7 after one quarter ended 61-32.
Jaida Parker led all scorers with 15 points, Kayelin Gibbons scored 13, and Stephanie Ramsey scored 12 for the Lady Eagles, who are now 19-1. Bald Eagle Area fell to 8-12.
The girls’ next game will be at Hollidaysburg on Thursday, February 17th for what might be the regular-season game of the year.
Hollidaysburg is 21-0, and the Lady Eagles are 20-1, with their only loss coming to Hollidaysburg early in the season.
If they win, the Eagles will move into a tie with Hollidaysburg for the Mountain League title and hand Hollidaysburg its first loss of the season.
After Thursday, the Lady Eagles will move on to playoffs for the District Championship.
