The Tyrone girls’ varsity soccer team hit the road for the second time this week to play against the Central Dragons.
Unfortunately, they took home another loss, 4-2, dropping their record to 1-6-1.
“We played hard and didn’t give up, even though we were down 3-1 at the end of the first half,” said senior defender Jaysa Carns.
Central scored first to start the game off, but the Tyrone ladies weren’t backing down and fought back to score a goal right after Central scored.
Central scored two more goals to end the first half, keeping Tyrone from scoring again throughout the first half.
The Tyrone girls did not give up after halftime, and Marissa Cacciotti scored to make the score 3-2.
The Lady Eagles gave it their all to try and come back and win the game, but Central didn’t allow anything to get by them and ended up scoring again to secure their 4-2 win.
The Tyrone girls’ varsity soccer team faces Somerset at home on Thursday, September 25th.
