The Lady Eagles soccer team fell to Philipsburg-Osceola 1-0 while away on October 6th.

The Lady Eagles were at a disadvantage with three players being out due to injuries, including two starting strikers and Tyrone’s main goalkeeper.

The Lady Mounties dominated possession of the ball for a majority of the first half but struggled to break through Tyrone’s strong defensive line. Both teams took several shots on goal, but none were able to make it in until the last minutes of the half.

With two minutes remaining in the first half of the game, Philipsburg connected several passes in Tyrone’s defensive end and worked towards the center of the goal. The half ended with Philipsburg leading Tyrone 1-0.

Coming into the second half, Tyrone worked to take better touches and connect more passes. The Lady Eagles dominated possession with the ball remaining in Philipsburg’s defensive end throughout the half. Tyrone took many shots on goal but none were able to make it past Philipsburg’s keeper.
