The Tyrone Lady Eagles hosted the Bellefonte Red Raiders on Monday the 7th. It was Tyrone’s senior night and they made sure to take it to the Raiders in their second to last regular-season home game.

Senior Stephanie Ramsey led the Eagles with 16. She was followed by senior Emma Getz with 15, sophomore Bree Paul with 13, junior Kayelin Gibbons with 12, and senior Jaida Parker added 11.

After the first quarter, the Eagles led 33-0. Going into the half the Eagles dominated the boards with a score of 50-12.

In the second half, the Lady Eagles did not let up as they continued to push their lead and run up the score while getting their bench players some valuable varsity time.

Tyrone was hot from beyond the 3 point line, draining 12 threes in the game. Ramsey had 4, Paul 3, Parker 2, and one each from Getz, Riley Corl, and Summer Shaw.

By contrast, Bellefonte was only able to hit one three-point shot.

Tyrone won 81-29 and improved their season record to 18-1.

The Eagles will take on Bald Eagle this Friday the 11 at home.
