Lady Eagles Crush Central Dragons
The Lady Eagles defeated Central’s Lady Dragons once again on Tuesday, October 14th, in their away game.
During the first set, many kills and strong blocks were made against Central. Tyrone missed a few serves and made some minor mistakes but we remained on top. After a short set Tyrone won, 25-13. Their goal now was to cut down their little mistakes and give the opposing team as little to work with as possible.
In the second set, the Lady Eagle’s goal was met. Fewer serves were missed, passing improved, and more kills were made. In order to improve, the girls knew they needed to continue to cut back on errors. In the end, the Eagles won again with a score of 25-10.
The last set was short and the Eagles were doing well so they were able to sub in some underclassmen for the starters. The girls continued to work hard and play to their level which resulted in them winning the final set 25-12.
JV won 2-0 and is now 11-1. Scores were 25-16 and 25-20. Varsity won all three sets and now is 6-6. Scores were 25-13, 25-10, 25-12.
