The Lady Eagles Volleyball team made history on Tuesday night by beating their biggest rival, Bald Eagle, in 5 sets.

Bald Eagle has been one of the best teams in the area for many years and defeating the Bald Eagles has been a goal for the Lady Eagles for many years.

In the first set, the Lady Eagles started off strong, keeping the score consistent. Bald Eagle was also starting out strong and kept with Tyrone most of the game. The Lady Eagles let Bald Eagle get up on them, but they didn’t let that affect their game.

They continued pushing through the first set, but they came short, losing this set 22-25.

The Lady Eagles were determined to win this next set, getting a lead in points right out of the gate. The Lady Eagles won the next two sets 25-23 and 25-15.

The fourth set was a different story. Tyrone went out confident and ready to win this set. Unfortunately, Bald Eagle got a lead in points and finished the set 13-25.

The Lady Eagles fought until the last point, and the set ended with Tyrone getting the win 15-11.

JV scores: 25-22, 20-25, 8-15.
