Eagle Eye: Why did you choose to participate in the band?

Jake Greene: It seemed like fun.

EE: What instrument/role do you play in the band?

JG: Snare/Drum Major

EE: What was your favorite part about being part of the band?

JG: Spending time with friends, getting better together

EE: What was your favorite memory from band?

JG: Watching Avengers- Infinity War and Endgame at Wildwood, NJ with my friends

EE: What do you plan to do after graduation?

JG: Attend IUP for a degree in Biology

EE: Do you think you will continue to participate in the band/color guard?

JG: Yes 

EE: How has being part of the band impacted your life?

JG: It has made me a more level-headed person and taught me the value of having good people by your side

EE: What would you say to people who want to be part of the band?

JG: Do it as soon as you can, don’t hold yourself back. Starting something is often the hardest part

EE: What advice would you give to younger musicians/guards?

JG: Don’t quit. The easiest way to ensure you get better is to play all the time. Practice what feels uncomfortable and awkward to you, not what you are good at.

EE: Anything else you would like to add?

JG: It’s all fun and games until 3 to 5’s come
