Impress Your Bae with Our Top 5 Valentines Day Tips
Instead of asking your Valentine’s best friend for a little Valentine’s Day advice, we have some tips and tricks for you. 😉
1. Buy your Valentine flowers
Flowers aren’t for everyone, but they are for some. If your Valentine likes flowers you can purchase carnations at all lunches from HOSA. For only $1.50 each, you can choose from three colors to represent your feelings. Red for love, pink if you just like them, and white to represent friendship.
Another option is to go to the local flower shop, Garden Gate Florists, located at 5630 E Pleasant Valley Blvd in Tyrone in the place of Village Pantry’s old location. You can choose from a variety of pre-made arrangements or you could specially order and create your own.
2.Make your bae dinner
As a teenager with not a lot of money, it may be hard to front the money to pay for dinner SO we have your fix. Find out their favorite foods and make it for them. It may not be restaurant quality, but your bae will the appreciate the thought, which is all that counts. Here are some ideas!
3.Take your bae out to dinner
If your cooking skills aren’t A1 and you can afford a dinner, then take them out. Go to a restaurant that you will both enjoy. The more expensive the restaurant is not always better. Make sure you make reservations ahead of time because everyone else will have the same idea to go out to dinner. If you don’t want to deal with the traffic go the day before or the day after to avoid the typical VDay rush. A few of the best restaurants in the area for a romantic evening are:
- Olive Garden in Atoona.
- Otto’s Pub and Brewery in State College.
- The Tavern Restaurant in State College.
4.Go to the movies/ Home Date Movie Night
Nothing is more romantic then a simple movie night in the comfort of your own house? Snuggle with your Valentine during the movie OR take your bae to a romantic chick flick or comedy and don’t forget the popcorn!
