“Each team (three bowlers) will bowl three games each week. Students must sign up as complete teams. How the winner will be decided has not been set. We first need to determine the numbers of teams entering,” said League Coordinator Cheryl Rupp.
The Holidaysburg and Altoona school districts have already signed up for the league. Bishop Guilfoyle, Bellwood, Claysburg-Kimmel, Bedford, Great Commission, Tyrone, and Glendale have all been invited to field teams.
“If the league continues to grow in numbers we would eventually like to bowl other teams in he surrounding areas of PA,” said Rupp.
The signup deadline is Tuesday April 11.
