Tyrone Area FFA members are collecting hygiene items for the middle school Tyrone Eagle Closet.

They have set a goal to collect 350 items by November 18, 2022.

The closet is open to any middle school student needing products to keep them fresh and clean.

High school students can earn community service hours based on the type of product donated.

The following products are worth ¼ hour of community service hours: Deodorant (regular size), Chapstick, Soap Bars – 3 Pack, and Socks.

The following products are worth ½ hour of community service hours: Shampoo, (16 oz.), Conditioner (16 oz.), Body Wash (16 oz.), Lotion (16 oz.), Mouthwash (16 oz.), Contact Lens Solution (16 oz.), Pads (feminine napkins) – 42 ct, Tampons – 36 ct, or Facewash.

Community members and businesses are also welcome to donate items for this service project by dropping off supplies at the main high school office or the Ag room.
