Golden Eagles Fly Over Bald Eagles
Tyrone made easy work of Bald Eagle on Monday night with a 50-31 road win.
After a tough loss at Johnstown, BEA was the perfect rebound game for the Golden Eagles to get their confidence back.
Tyrone moved the ball around well against Bald Eagles’ 2-3 zone.
Head Coach George Gripp switched the starting lineup a bit, with sophomore Sam Crilly starting instead of sophomore Drew Escala.
With Escala on the bench for tip-off, the team relied on senior Ross Gampe to work under the rim. Gampe responded with a game-high 18 points and solid work on the boards.
Escala came into the game hot with a steal into an assist. The sophomore forward played a strong game offensively with 10 points, 2 steals, and 4 rebounds.
Tyrone also won the JV game, 51-34 with Tyrone’s Ashton Emigh leading with 18 points.
