The Central Dragons put a beating on the Golden Eagles as they tallied 12 hits for 11 runs, defeating Tyrone 11-4.
Landon Postreich took the hill for Tyrone and despite giving up 10 runs, he had a good performance. Five of the runs given up were due to Tyrone’s fielding errors.
The Golden Eagles’ weak point as they accumulated 7 errors total and gave up 11 runs.
Although the fielding was poor, Tyrone was able to pick up their hitting and tallied 9 hits for 4 runs. However, the Eagles continued to struggle with runners in scoring positon, leaving 10 runners on base.
Some key players for Central were Griffin Snowberger and Troy McNichol who combined for 6 hits and were responsible for 8 runs scored.
Ashton Walk and AJ Coleman were key players for the Golden Eagles. Coleman was able to force 2 walks and score 2 runs as Ashton Walk smacked 2 hits and drove in a run.
Central improved their record to 4-1 and Tyrone’s dropped to 2-3. Both teams are prepared for the Curve Classic and have a decent chance to match up against each other again.
