The Tyrone Girls Tennis team defeated Huntingdon on Monday, Aug. 27th.  The girls swept in the five singles matches. The final score was 6-1 in favor of the Lady Eagles.

Singles:

#1) Winnie Grot (T) def. Liv Vlasak (H) 6-0, 6-0.

#2) Ava McCracken (T) def. Caroline Sliver (H) 6-1, 6-2.

#3) Megan Tepsic (T) def. Alicyn Albaugh (H) 6-0, 6-0.

#4) Olivia Reese (T) def. Julia Thompson (H) 6-2, 6-0.

#5) Lindsey Walk (T) def. Avalon Ritchey (H) 6-0, 6-1.

Doubles:

#1) Liv Vlasak, and Caroline Sliver (H) def. Emilee Walk, and  Victoria Reese (T) 8-4.

#2) Alicia Endress, and Rachel Stricek (T) def. Alicyn Albaugh, and Julia Thompson (H) 8-4.

The girls will be traveling to Clearfield Wednesday Aug. 29th. Their record stands at (1-0).
