Freshman Spotlight: Kaila Moon

Eagle Eye: What is the biggest transition from middle school to high school in your opinion?
Kaila Moon: I think the biggest transition for me is having classes with other people in different grades and the classes are more spread out.
EE: Do you have any sports or extracurricular activities you are excited to continue into high school?
KM: No, I chose to focus on my grades and homework this year.
EE: What is something you will miss about Middle school?
KM: Mostly I’ll just miss the teachers.
EE. What is something you didn’t expect about high school?
KM: I didn’t expect the 8th graders to be in A lunch.
EE: What is your favorite thing about being in the high school, so far?
KM: I like that there is more freedom and the staff is really nice and helpful.
EE: Which class is the most difficult? Why?
KM: Personally science has always been difficult for me, but since we are just starting out so it’s not too bad.
EE: What is your favorite thing to do?
KM: I like to skateboard, listen to music, chill with my friends, and go four wheeling.
EE: What/who is your favorite song/artist right now?
KM: XXXtentacion or Juice Wrld.
EE: Who is your favorite teacher, why?
KM: Mr. Cammarata or Mrs. Hoy, they are chill and I enjoy doing what they have us do.
EE: What advice would you give to next year’s freshman?
KM: Do your work, turn things in on time, and keep your Chromebook charged.
