Freshman of the Week: Makayla McCloskey

Eagle Eye: What is the biggest difference from middle school to high school?

Makayla McCloskey: There is much more freedom and music is an option in most classes.

EE: What is your hardest class this year?

MM: Math because it’s geometry and I got used to the double classes.

EE: What is your favorite part of high school so far?

MM: You have more freedom, you have chances to catch up on things if needed, you can do most of your work whenever you want, and you have more control of what you do in school.

EE: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? If so, what?

MM: No.

EE: What are some of your favorite activities or hobbies?

MM: I like to read and write.

EE: What is your favorite movie?

MM: The Hunger Games.

EE: What is your favorite sports team?

MM: I don’t really have one.

EE: What is your favorite food?

MM: Chocolate.

EE: What is your favorite band or musical artist?

MM: Three Days Grace.

EE: What advice would you give to next year‘s freshmen?

MM: Don’t fall behind in your classes because it’s harder to pick your grades back up and in ninth grade it really counts. Plus, you don’t want to start bad habits like that when grades just start to count.
