Freshman of the Week: Maggie Parks

Maggie Parks

Eagle Eye: What is your biggest transition from middle school to high school?

Maggie Parks: The biggest transition for me is having classes with upperclassmen. It’s a relief to get a break from the goofballs I’ve grown up with, and meet new people.

EE: What do you like most about high school? Why?

MP: I love that there are so many different electives and clubs. In high school there is a lot more pressure, but also a lot more freedom.

EE: What is your hardest class this year?

MP: None of my classes are too hard. Math can be difficult sometimes, but that’s just because its a weak point for me.

EE: Who is your favorite teacher? Why?

MP: My favorite teacher has to go to Mr. Wilson because he makes dad jokes, and because of his dance moves. Ill never forget the difference between a solid, liquid, and gas.

EE: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? If so, what are they?

MP: Not currently. I’m trying to find a job so sports and stuff will have to wait.

EE: What are your plans after you graduate?

MP: I’m not sure what I want to do for a living, but I definitely want to go to college and travel.

EE: What is your favorite sports team? Why?

MP: The Golden Eagles, duh. Gotta support the fam.

EE: What is your favorite movie?

MP: Magic Mike XXL

EE: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why?

MP: Anything from Chipotle. No explanation needed.

EE: If you could be any superhero, who would it be? Why?

MP: Spiderman. He can swing from buildings.
