Name: Katelyn Wilson
Eagle Eye: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
KW: I’m a very shy person, but when people get to know me, I’m extremely extroverted. I like singing and acting, and I do Drama Club and karate.
EE: What is the biggest transition from middle school to high school in your opinion?
KW: The teachers are much different, and the assignments are harder.
EE: Who is someone you look up to? Why? (Athlete, Artist, Peer, etc)
KW: I think that I look up to successful people in life, because every time that I think of them, I see myself. I think, “I could be as successful as them one day,” and it motivates me.
EE: What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment?
KW: When I was younger, I had a lot of trouble listening, but now I think I get good grades because I can listen.
EE: Which class is the most difficult? Why?
KW: I think that History is the most challenging class because it requires a lot of listening skills, which a lot of people might not have. There’s also frequent homework.
EE: What is your favorite thing about being in high school so far?
KW: The teachers are really kind to everybody and will always help if there’s a problem.
EE: Do you have any sports or extracurricular activities you are excited to participate in inside/outside of school?
KW: I have Drama Club and Tang Soo Do, a form of karate.
EE: What are your future goals?
KW: I just want to be successful in life, whether it be to get good grades, get my dream job, make friends, anything.
EE: What advice would you give to next year’s freshmen?
KW: Try to make as many friends as you can because you have a lot of classes and your friends might not be in the same ones.
