Name: Jackson Conrad
Eagle Eye: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
JC: “First and foremost, I am a devout Christian, I enjoy spending my time with the arts, especially music. I play drums and guitar.”
EE: What is the biggest transition from middle school to high school in your opinion?
JC: “For me personally, the biggest change was probably lunch. To be more broad though, I’d probably say going from blocks to periods.”
EE: Who is someone you look up to? Why? (Athlete, Artist, Peer, etc)
JC: “For me personally, a large inspiration and a major help to me musically is Cole Hunter. He’s helped me grow so much not just as a musician, but also as a person.”
EE: What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment?
JC: “Obviously not dying is a pretty good accomplishment. I like to think that achieving all I have with the band is probably the biggest though.”
EE: Which class is the most difficult? Why?
JC: “For me, the hardest class is probably English. I’m made to think and conclude unlike I have before which, of course, is hard, but I’m glad I’m being taught this way.”
EE: What is your favorite thing about being in high school so far?
JC: “I know it’s cliche, but of course, I do like more freedom and trust.”
EE: Do you have any sports or extracurricular activities you are excited to participate in inside/outside of school?
JC: “Starting very soon is indoor percussion and I could not be more excited. Last year was amazing and I can hardly wait for what’s to come.”
EE: What are your future goals?
JC: “Career-wise, I honestly have no idea. I do intend to graduate high school though, and I’d like to start a family. I’d also like to grow stronger in my relationship with God.”
EE: What advice would you give to next year’s freshmen?
JC: “I’d like to say that you should live every day like it’s your last. Push yourself, take chances, and be the best version of yourself that you can be. Remember how lucky you are and live your life to its fullest.”
