Fourth Annual YAN 4D Movie Night Set for Friday March 2nd

Tyrone’s Youth Action Network (YAN) will host their fourth annual 4D movie event this Friday, March 2nd from 6-8 pm in the high school cafeteria. The movie night is free and open for all children 4th grade and under along with their families.

“YAN enjoys making connections with the elementary students and our community.  It helps foster a positive climate between our schools, our students, and our community as a whole,” said YAN Adviser Mr. McNitt.

This year’s movie is Trolls. YAN members will dress up as trolls and bergens and act out various scenes from the movie.

There will also be snacks and handouts given throughout the course of the movie.

“Families should come out and have a great time with their kids while watching Trolls. They’ll also have a fun time with our creative movie-inspired snacks and treats! It’s just a great time for kids of all ages,” said YAN President Elina Lure.

Children are welcome to come in their pajamas and bring sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the children so happy and seeing them laugh and have a good time. It will feel good to make younger kids happy,” said Olivia Watson, YAN Treasurer.

Last year, 200 people attended the event. This year, the group hopes to reach 225 people.

“[Families] should expect a fun-filled night full of laughter, treats, and entertainment.  At the end of the evening, we will have some additional surprise for our guests!!” said Mr. McNitt.
