Name: Ryleigh Holmes
Eagle Eye: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
RH: WASSUP! My name is Ryleigh, I am a perfectionist. I love to sing, dance, act, and hang out with my friends. I am afraid of diplopodas and I love my friends. I value my clubs (FFA, Drama Club, POPS Extension, Concert Choir, Eagle Eye, and Yearbook) and all of my friends and activities within those clubs.
EE: What is the biggest transition from middle school to high school in your opinion?
RH: Responsibility and freedom. You earn more of that in high school and aren’t micromanaged.
EE: Who is someone you look up to? Why? (Athlete, Artist, Peer, etc)
RH: Jackson Conrad. He is never afraid to be himself. He knows what to do and I turn to him for a ton of things. He is strong in faith and that is something I haven’t harnessed yet. Thanks, buddy, you’re a real one.
EE: What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment?
RH: I have many. To be honest, waking up day to day, you never know when your last day is. Also, getting a pretty big supporting role in last year’s production of “Grease: School Edition” with the drama club.
EE: Which class is the most difficult? Why?
RH: Mrs. Hoy’s class. I am taking the Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) practicum and don’t ask questions. I kinda just roll with the punches.
EE: What is your favorite thing about being in high school so far?
RH: The clubs and opportunities available.
EE: Do you have any sports or extracurricular activities you are excited to participate in inside/outside of school?
RH: In school: FFA, Drama Club, POPS Extension, Concert Choir, Eagle Eye, and Yearbook. — Out of School: Youth League Bowling, Youth Group, and Church.
EE: What are your future goals?
RH: Right now, Marines or the Navy. After that, I will go to the Police Academy and become a state cop. If that doesn’t work, Flight Attendant.
EE: What advice would you give to next year’s freshmen?
RH: DO YOUR WORK. When you put off your work, you add things on to your normal day and become either ineligible or really stressed.
