One of the worst sports to play in the rain is baseball and the Tyrone Eagles had to weather a drowsy afternoon to battle for their 4th win of the season.

The Eagles scored first when Gary Weaver reached on a walk and was hit in on a single from Anthony Politza.

From there Tyrone consistently scored 1 or 2 runs an inning and had built up a comfortable 11-5 lead going into the 6th inning.

Then things got crazy in the sixth as Huntingdon ripped off multiple hits to open the inning.  Then, with bases loaded, relief pitcher Brian Gunter was taken yard by K. Heaton from Huntingdon. This tied the game at 11.  Fortunately, Tyrone was able to end the inning without letting any more runners in.

Tyrone responded well by scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the inning. Gunter had a timely hit to break the tie and with bases loaded Tyrone was able to drive in 3 runs to boost their lead to 15-11.

Tyrone came out with fire on the field and after shutting down Huntingdon, the Eagles captured their 4th win of the season.
