Eagle Eye writer recognized nationally for outstanding writing
Eyer’s talent for writing video game reviews has earned him three nationally published articles
Eagle Eye writer Michael Eyer was recently honored by Best of SNO, a national website, for his outstanding video game review of the popular new game Destiny.
Best of SNO publishes the best of student journalism from schools from that subscribe to the School Newspapers Online hosting service. SNO currently hosts over 1,500 high school student news websites in all fifty states.
“Its an honor I’m really glad to be helping the Eagle Eye with my writing skill,” said Eyer.
This is Eyer’s third game review accepted by Best of SNO.
“Michael is a very good writer. His game reviews are of professional quality. It’s great to see him getting recognized for it,” said Cammarata.
Eyer’s game reviews take different amounts of time depending on how long it takes him play the game. Eyer generally takes about three days to a week to beat the game and write a review of it.
Thanks to Eyer the Eagle Eye is one step closer to earning a SNO Distinguished Site Award for the second consecutive year.
Last year Eyer received awards from SNO for his stories on the games Wolfenstein and South Park: the Stick of Truth.
