Dance Fusion has been performing locally in Altoona, showcasing its solos, duets, and trios. This gives dancers more opportunities to compete and more experience on the stage.
Dancers attended the All Out Dance Competition at the Altoona Convention Center on the first weekend in February. It was a great first optional competition with excellent results.
They ended the weekend with 4 All-Out Excellences, 11 Platinums, 6 All-Out Golds, 1 Title Winner, and 5 Judges Choice Awards.
Senior Alivia Anderson was awarded Intermediate Miss All Out, highlighting her weekend and kicking off her final competition season.
Many local teams and companies competed at both All Out and Nexstar, making it a good place to start the competition season.
The Nexstar competition was held at the Jaffa where fewer dancers were competing, but still representing Dance Fusion positively and winning many awards.
They finished the competition weekend with 4 Platinum Plus, 5 Platinum, 2 High Gold, 2 Scholarship Winners, 2 Judges Choice Awards, 1 Excellence in Choreography, and 1 Cover Model Nominee.
“We’re at a point in our season where we are striving to grow, progress, and build on our performance and technique at each competition,” said Owner and Artistic Director Lindsay Pullara.
