The boys and girls cross-country team traveled to Forest Hills to compete against Forest Hills and Richland on September 18.
The Tyrone boys took first in the meet and the girls took third.
For the boys, senior Tom Sutt earned third, and juniors Alex Brumbaugh and Nate Erickson got 4th and 7th.
“I thought their course wasn’t super hard, the whole team ran well and the times showed,” said Brumbaugh.
No Tyrone giursl placed but the top three finishes were Kiana Gardner, Rachel Pederson, and Lilly Ammerman.
“I thought the team could have done better but we all ran well,” said junior Grace Corl.
