Congratulations to the First Annual #EagleEyeGetsSpooky Halloween Costume Contest Winners

Every one of our #EagleEyeGetsSpooky Halloween Costume Contest entries were spectacular. However, only the winners of the four different categories could take home the candy basket prize. Congratulations to the winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who entered!

Scariest Halloween Costume – Jamie Lynch

EE: What is your costume?

Jamie Lynch: A burned beauty queen.

EE: How did you come up with your costume?

JL: I usually do an SFX look for Halloween, and this is a style I haven’t done yet.

EE: How did you put your costume together?

JL: A mixture of liquid latex and cotton and tissue. Just basic things out of my Ben Nye Monster Makeup kit!

Most Creative Halloween Costume – Paige Umholtz

EE: What is your costume?

Paige Umholtz: A cactus.

EE: How did you come up with your costume?

PU: I was watching some DIY costume videos on YouTube and found one for a cactus and thought it was cute!

EE: How did you put your costume together?

PU: I bought a cheap $5 green sweater from Good Will and took some white pipe cleaners and threaded them through the sweater and twisted them. It made them poke out like spikes. Then I got a headband from the Dollar store and a few fake pink flowers and made a headband to look like the flowers on top of the cactus.

Dynamic Duo – Stephanie Ramsey and her father

EE: What is your costume?

Stephanie Ramsey:  I am Rey and my dad is a Jedi.

EE: How did you come up with your costume?

SR:  Our costumes are based off of Episode 7 of Star Wars at the end when Rey goes to hand Luke the lightsaber.

EE: How did you put your costume together?

SR: They are both characters from the final scene in Star Wars episode 7 and we had to dress up for a party at Disney ( the photo was taken at Disney’s Magic Kingdom). Since Star Wars is now a part of Disney, we thought the costume would fit the topic.

Random Winners – Lizatia Ake and Elina Lure

EE: What is your costume?

Lizatia Ake and Elina Lure:  We were Lilo and Stitch from the Disney movie.

EE: How did you come up with your costume?

EL:  Everyone calls Lizzie and I, Lilo and Stitch, respectively, because we are the other half of each other, and we reflect the characters personalities. Now everyone calls us Lilo and Stitch.

LA: I came up with the nickname Stitch [for] Elina because she acts like him in the movie. I became Lilo because I’m the Lilo to her Stitch.

EE: How did you put your costume together?

EL:  I got a blue T shirt, blue facepaint, and Stitch ears from Etsy.

LA: I wore a Lilo dress from Hot Topic
