Cheerleading Districts will be held at Tyrone Area High School Gym on Saturday, December 12. Doors open at 9:30 am. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children.

This will be the Eagles second competition of the season. In the first competition, the Golden Eagles placed second.

This competition will be more difficult than the previous one because districts involves more teams and many perform at higher difficulty levels than those at Tyrone’s last competition.

Divisions and teams are as follows:

• Small Varsity Division: Penns Manor, Philipsburg Osceola, Greater Johnstown, and Purchase Line
• The Medium Varsity Division: Bishop McCort, Bellefonte, West Branch, Blairsville, and Tyrone
• Large Varsity Division: Richland, State College, and Bishop Guilfoyle
• Co-Ed Division: United, Saltsburg, and Bald Eagle

Tyrone will compete at 11:26. Awards are at 12:30.
