On Thursday, October 3rd, the Lady Eagles played the Lady Red Devils in a close battle. Unfortunately, the Lady Eagles lost in three sets. However, the night was full of good plays by all players involved in the game.
In the first set, the Lady Eagles fought hard in a back-and-forth battle. The set was evenly matched between both teams and came down to the end. The set went past the normal threshold, ending with Central Cambria winning 27-25.
The second set was much different in the beginning with the Lady Eagles coming out to a demanding lead.
Central Cambria fought back and evened up the score in the second set. The Lady Red Devils eventually took the set from the Lady Golden Eagles with a score of 26-24.
With the Lady Eagles down two sets to none, they were seeking a victory, The Lady Eagles battled in the final set to bring it to the very end.
The set again went past the regular threshold of 25 points, but again it was not in Tyrone’s favor. Tyrone fell again in the third set 25-23.
“I feel that even though we lost all three sets we were still keeping up with Central Cambria pretty well,” said Junior outside Abby Anthony The third set was a little bit of a challenge with moving new positions around but in the end, we worked well together and as a team and were able to adjust.”
Tyrone was swept three sets to none and it leads their record to 6-7. The Lady Eagles still search to get their record back to the .500 mark.
