The boy’s tennis team continued their three-match losing streak with a 4-1 defeat against Juniata.
Despite the lopsided final score, all the matches were competitive and set Tyrone for a good chance at a win in a rematch, which will come later this season.
Tyrone’s only victory came in the first doubles match with seniors Tyler Weston and Logan Harpster recording their first win of the season.
Weston and Harpster suffered 6-1 loss in the first set but came back and won the next two sets 6-0 and 6-2, for the win.
Wyatt Walls and Caden Harris both won the first set of their matches, but neither could get either of their final two sets to defeat their opponents.
Tyrone returns to the court next Tuesday, March 25, at Clearfield.
