The boys tennis team suffered another defeat at Clearfield, this time by a 4-1 defeat. Sophomore Wyatt Walls was Tyrone’s only victor, as he won in two sets by scores of 6-0 and 6-1 to get his first win of the season.
Senior Ethan Dasher also competed well in his singles match, but was unable to become victorious in any of his sets.
In the first doubles game, seniors Tyler Weston and Logan Harpster won their first set 6-2, but couldn’t manage to find a win in either of the final two sets.
Rhys Rawlings and debuting JuJu Fisher played well in the second doubles match, but were also unable to come out with a win.
Tyrone returns to the courts today at 4 pm for a home match against Windber.
