Bison dominate Golden Eagles
Tyrone Golden Eagles lost their home match to Clearfield 63-18. Even though this was a match dominated by Clearfield the Golden Eagles did have a couple high notes.
Senior and first year wrestler Colby Pannebaker pinned his opponent in 3:58 at 220 pound weight class. This was the senior first pin of his career at home. Pannebaker has been on a roll winning four of his last five matches.
“I feel this pin will help give me confidence for the upcoming district tournament. I feel I am getting better each day”, said Pannebaker.
Junior Derrick Harris also won by a pin in 4:35 to Clearfields T. Morgan at 160 pound weight class.
To finish up the Golden Eagles 18 points, junior Jamal Hicks received a forfeit at 126 pounds.
The Golden Eagles next travel to Clearfield for a tournament Jan 27-28.
