Spring Band Concert Preview
The Jazz Band’s ever professional Rhythm Section.
The TAHS Band programs are gearing up for their spring concert. The concert is set to take place on April 24th, in the high school auditorium. There will be no charge for admission.
The Jazz Band, the High School Concert Band, and Middle School Concert Band have all been working on choosing and perfecting music since they came back from winter break.
“We’ve been working hard, hopefully it’ll pay off,” freshman Austin Shuey said of the concert.
The Jazz Band, under the direction of Mr. David Hock, is an audition-only group, the only band group to do this. They play at venues all over town and school and can be booked by anyone looking for good music.
The concert bands only play at the fall and spring concerts, but many of these students also join other music groups so they have more of an opportunity to perform.
“It will definitely be interesting,” said senior Bailey Christine.
