Get your creative mind thinking of a cool t-shirt design because the Tyrone Cheerleading Boosters are holding their annual Backyard Brawl design contest again this year.

A panel of judges from Tyrone Cheerleading Boosters and local businesses will select one lucky winner, who will receive a free backyard brawl t-shirt and $50 Sheetz gift card.

The deadline to enter is May 19. The contest is being held d through Proforma LLH Promos and is open to all Tyrone Area High School students.

To enter your design, click to this link http://llhpromos.com/backyardbrawl/ and start creating your masterpiece.  The four colors available to use for designing the logo are orange, black, blue, and gold. These are the most common colors to represent the two schools.  The t-shirt color will be white.

Instructions are as follows:

To upload the design click the link “Upload Your Design” and follow the prompts.

OR

Choose IMAGES from the menu to add art to the T-shirt. Resize the art or image by holding and dragging the bottom right corner; the corner is denoted with small sideways hash marks. Drag the image into any desired position.

Choose TEXTS from the menu to add text to the T-Shirt. Enter text by clicking in the box below the words “enter text below”. Add additional lines of text by clicking the box labeled “new text”. Drag the text into any desired position. Manipulate the text using the available options.

Finalize the Design

When the design is ready click the “save image” below the T-shirt.

A pop-up box will confirm the design saved successfully.

Retrieve the Design by clicking “download.”

On the following page that appears *right click* the image and choose save. Your design will be reviewed for content. Once reviewed, your design will appear in the gallery.

In the past the contest has been combined with Bellwood, but Bellwood has decided to break tradition and do their own thing, so Tyrone will hold their own contest this year.

The contest will run from May 1st through May 19th. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.  The winner will be also be recognized in the Tyrone Herald.
