Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?
Mackenzie Latchford: ¨I first got involved in track in 8th grade after quitting gymnastics and Tammy Wills convinced me to try it out.¨

EE: Who is your hero? Why?
ML: ¨I admire my parents because they are always there to love and support me no matter what.¨

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
ML: ¨Never give up. It is not going to be easy, so you have to push yourself in order to succeed.¨
EE: What are your future goals?
ML: ¨Attend Clarion University to pursue a degree in nursing while also competing on their track team. Eventually, I hope to get my doctorate degree to become a CRNA.¨

Keegan Gwin: “I was bored of basketball and COVID really put a damper on my tenth-grade year so I decided to join.”

KG: Deegan Baldauf because of his attitude and leadership is a great role model for me.
