Name: Zach Kohler

Sport: Cross Country

Grade: 12

Accomplishments:  

Kohler is a three-time Blair-Huntingdon County Meet Champion. He placed fifth at Districts this year and third at Mountain League Championships. The standout senior is also a two-time state qualifier. Kohler has also achieved many other goals over the years and has been one of the most successful cross country runners in school history.  Congratulations Zach on a great high school cross country career!


Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?

Zach Kohler: “My dad signed me up for a 5K when I was 11.”

ZK: “Track”

ZK: “Philadelphia Eagles”

ZK: “Jayson Tatum”

ZK: “Chocolate”

EE: What is your favorite part of the sport you play?

ZK: “Meeting kids from other schools.”

ZK: “Jay Rice drinking four Kickstarts before practice.”

EE: What is your greatest motivation to succeed?

ZK: “The drive to be the best I can.”

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?

ZK: “Make the most of every moment because it’ll be over before you know it.”
