Grade: Junior

Accomplishments: Romani is a dual fall sport athlete this year. He currently leads the soccer team with four goals on the season, including a hat trick in their 3-0 win against Windber.  On the football field, Romani is handling kickoffs, extra points, and field goal attempts. He is still waiting for his first field goal attempt but is 7-8 on extra points so far this season.

EE: How did you first get involved in this sport?

RR: “I joined a soccer club in Maryland when I was 5 and some of the guys on the football team got me to try it this year.”

EE: What other sports do you play?

RR: “Track”

EE: Favorite professional sports team?

RR: “Juventus F.C.”

EE: Favorite professional athlete?

RR: “Christiano Ronaldo”

EE: Who do you admire most? Why?

RR: “Elijah Knarr because he is crazy at soccer”

EE: Favorite band /musician?

RR: “Yung Gravy”

EE: Favorite movie?

RR: “Avatar”

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?

RR: “Never let’em know your next move.”

EE: What are your future goals?

RR: “Play soccer and/or football at a D1 college where I want to major in criminal justice so I can later become a contract lawyer (specializing in sports contracts). That’s my backup, my main goal is to play professionally.”
