Athlete of the Week: Reagan Irons
Name: Reagan Irons
Sport: Track
Grade: Junior
Accomplishments: Placed first win at the 45th annual Igloo Invitational Track and Field Meet at Mansion Park in Altoona. Irons also finished first at the Golden Eagle’s last dual meet with a 5’0″ jump in the high jump, first in the triple jump, and second in the running long jump.
Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?
Reagan Irons: “I was in a running club, so I decided to try junior high track.”

EE: Who is your hero? Why?
RI: My parents because of how hard they work and specifically my mom because she is an amazing person.

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
RI: Put the work in and you will see the results over time.

RI: To play volleyball in college and to get a good job.
