Accomplishments: Won District Championship and competed at the State level.
Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?
Mackenzie Latchford: A lot of my friends and family had convinced me to give it a try after I quit gymnastics in 7th grade. Then I started track in 8th grade.
EE: What other sports do you play?
ML: Soccer
EE: Favorite professional sports team?
ML: The Pittsburgh Penguins
EE: Favorite professional athlete?
ML: Alex Morgan
EE: Who do you admire the most? Why?
ML: I admire my parents the most because they are always so supportive and encouraging towards me and my hopes and dreams.
EE: Favorite band /musician?
ML: 5 Seconds of Summer or Khalid
EE: Favorite movie/show?
ML: After We Collided
EE: Favorite food?
ML: Any Mexican food
EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
ML: Never be afraid to fail. Things may get hard sometimes but you should always try to keep your chin up. Always push yourself to be the best you can be.
EE: What are your future goals?
ML: To go to college to become a Pediatric Physicians Assistant. I would love to go to Saint Francis and run track or go to Penn State in the future.
