Athlete of the Week: Maci Brodzina
Name: Maci Brodzina
Sport: Softball
Grade: Senior
Accomplishments: Brodzina is a team captain and senior leader for the Lady Eagles. Yesterday she hit a two-run home run, a tiebreaking RBI double, and made several great plays in the field to help the Lady Eagles earn a 7-5 win over Hollidaysburg.

Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?
Maci Brodzina: “I started playing when I could not play baseball anymore.”

MB: None

MB: Pittsburgh Pirates

EE: Who is your hero? Why?
MB: “My parents because they are willing to do anything for me.”

MB: A League of Their Own

MB: Chicken fingers
EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
MB: “Never give up on your goals. Keep working hard and be coachable. There is a difference between being confident and being cocky.”
EE: What are your future goals?
MB: “Attend Lock Haven for physical education and major in sports management, play softball in college, and help coach the softball team.”
