Accomplishments: Lucas has had a great junior year, topped off with a 1st place District medal this past weekend. Bonsell won the 100 yard butterfly and was the only Blair County swimmer to take home a gold. He hopes to make some noise at States and carry this success into his senior year! Congratulations Lucas!
Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?
Lucas Bonsell: I tried it out when I was around 7 or 8; my parents encouraged me to, and I’ve loved it ever since.

LB: Caleb Dressel
EE: Who is your hero? Why?
LB: My parents and sister are all my heroes, they support me 100% of the way, win or lose.

LB: Iron Man

LB: Buffalo Chicken Pizza
EE: What advice can you give to younger athletes?
LB: Whatever your goals may be, if you work hard enough, they will be accomplished.

LB: To keep improving my times in swimming and break the school record for 100 butterfly.
