Accomplishment:
At the Mountain Lion Invitational Cross Country Meet in Altoona last weekend Joe finished 3rd overall (17:24) in a field of 160 runners from 24 schools.
Coach Tammy Wills Quote:
“Joe has had a successful season that continues to improve each week. This past weekend he finished in 3rd place at the Altoona Invite. This was a big accomplishment and defiantly caught the attention of his local competition. He is a great leader and role model to our younger runners and is a very hard worker. When he walked off the course at districts last year he had already set goals for himself for this season and has been working very hard to reach them.”
EE: How did you first get involved in this sport?
I started running in a 5K road race in the area.
EE: What other sport(s) do you play?
Basketball and track.

Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron James
EE: Who is your hero? Why?
Adam Zook, because he is a good man and I wouldn’t be the runner I am today if it weren’t for him.

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
Always push yourself to the max, both mentally and physically.

Win districts, compete at states and maybe in college.
