Athlete of the Week: Ethan McCloskey

Athlete of the Week: Ethan McCloskey

Name: Ethan McCloskey

Grade:12

Sport: Cross Country

McCloskey has been running cross country since his freshman year.  He has improved every season and always thrives to be the best. Ethan has been a great example to the younger athletes on the team for the past two years. With being such a great leader, he was named the captain of the team. Ethan flies under the radar for a lot of people, but when you look at his times and awards, you see how successful he has been.

McCloskey’s best time for a 5k this year was 18:52 at Districts. His time just missed making it to the States. His best time for a mile was an outstanding 5:01 last year. Ethan has one more spring season of track left and he will surely dominate.
