Emma Getz had a career high of 33 points in the blowout vs. Penns Valley. She is currently a sophomore on the girls varsity team and is putting in good minutes and is a contributor to the girls success.

Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?

Emma Getz: “In 3rd grade my mom and dad put me in a rec-center league and I have been playing ever since.”

EE: What other sports do you play?

EG: “I don’t play any other sports. I play basketball all year round.”

EG: “Eagles”

EG: “OBJ or Russell Westbrook”

EE: Who is your hero? Why?

EG: “My brother Nick Getz he is very talented and over the years he has shown me that I can do anything if I put my mind to it.”

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?

EG: “If you put your mind to it and work for it you can achieve it.”

EG: “I want to win the Mountain League and Districts this year. Also make a run for states.”
