Accomplishments:
Chesney finished 4th place at the Shippensburg Invitational in the triple jump and 7th in the long jump. She recorded a personal best of 34 feet 7 inches in the triple jump. Chesney is also currently leading the girls team in points scored.

“Chesney has been excellent all year. She has a desire to work hard and put in the time and effort it takes to accomplish her goals. Coming into the year she knew what she needed to work on and has worked on it non stop. Everything she worked on finally all came together at Shippensburg and she PR’ed by 20 inches in her triple jump.”

Chesney Saltsgiver: “I did junior high track.”

CS: “I play basketball and cross country”

CS: “Pittsburgh Steelers”

CS: “I enjoy running, and I have a lot of friends on the team.”

CS: “My greatest memory is seeing how much I improve from the beginning to the end of the season.”
EE: What is your greatest motivation to succeed?
CS: “I really enjoy track and I know if I work I could go far.”
EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
CS: “Work hard at practice and don’t give up.”
