Accomplishments: Blaine scored 8 points against Central and also scored 18 points against Mt Union.

Coach George Gripp’s quote: “Blaine is getting back into form after battling through some nagging injuries and pneumonia.  He has been a solid contributor for us on both ends of the floor, a fierce competitor who knows multiple spots on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.


Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?

Blaine Hoover: “I started playing basketball at the Rec Center when I was in 3rd grade.”

BH: “Baseball”

BH: “Pittsburgh Steelers

BH: “Saquon Barkley”

EE: Favorite Food?

BH: “Steak”

EE: What is your favorite part of the sport you play?

BH: “The constant action of the game and the support the crowd brings to every game.”

EE: What is your greatest memory from this sport?

BH: “Going to tournaments when we were younger and hanging out with the team in the hotel.”

EE: What is your greatest motivation to succeed?

BH: “Helping the team to do well and win a district championship.”

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?

BH: “Continue to work hard on the things that you enjoy to do.”

EE: What are your future goals?

BH: “Going to college and hopefully playing a sport while there.”
