Name: Anna Baran
Sport: Softball
Grade: 12
Accomplishments:
Anna is currently batting 1.000 and had 11 strikeouts in their first win of the season over Williamsburg. She is a four year started and letter winner for the softball team. She has two career shutouts and many strikeouts in all four years. She plays for the U-18 PA Lady Cardinals travel team and will play for Juniata College in the fall.

EE: How did you first get involved in this sport?
Anna: My parents signed me up to play in the Bellwood league and I have played ever since.

Anna: Soccer

Anna: Pittsburgh Pirates

Anna: Andrew McCutchen
EE: Who is your hero? Why?
Anna: My summer ball coach, John Grace. Without him I would have never been able to reach all of my goals with my softball career.

EE: What advice would you give to younger athletes?
Anna: Always push yourself and be a team player

Anna: To attend Juniata College to major in Elementary and Special Education, and to play softball while I’m there.
